Have you ever felt like you’re in a kind of limbo? Like you’re living but nothing seems to change?
Set in the lobby of a run down two-star hotel, Life Without Me explores notions of purpose, direction, fulfilment as the characters fail to achieve their desires and instead return repeatedly, often involuntarily, to this hotel. An eccentric and hilarious modern Australian play by Daniel Keene.
Bay Theatre Players are excited to announce the cast for the final show for 2026 - Life Without Me
Sam Aspinall - Nigel
Jimmy Roe - John
Candy Burgess - Mrs Spence
Jeremy Kemp - Roy
Erica Drewsen - Alice
Daniel Kopilow - Tom
Teagan Lomax - Ellen
We are also very excited to welcome a new Director to BTP - Sharon McCutcheon. Sharon brings a wealth of experience, as a professionally trained actor, circus teacher, director and school teacher. Life Without Me is a personal favourite play of Sharon's and she is really looking forward to finally being able to bring it to life on the stage.
Rehearsals have commenced, and another show will be ready to shine on our very special stage. Make sure you save the date to see this hilarious and heart warming Australian play - on stage from 30 October to 8 November 2026.
