Bay Theatre Players Inc.

The Bay Playhouse is located at 33 Gregory Street, Batemans Bay, on the South Coast of New South Wales, Australia.

Bay Theatre Players Inc is a very active community theatre company operating their own theatre. Run entirely by volunteers, the company has been providing theatrical entertainment for local audiences for over 40 years. BTP is also a registered charity - CSN 120507.

Bay Theatre Players was originally established in 1975 and performed in a hall located at Observation Point in Batemans Bay. Following incorporation on 1 January 1994, the company moved into their own permanent theatre premises at 33 Gregory Street in Batemans Bay early in 1998. With the assistance of community and theatre volunteers, the original warehouse on the site was converted into the current theatre complex.

The group presents three or four productions each year, encompassing a broad range of Australian and International Comedy, Drama, Farce, and Musicals.

The Bay Playhouse has seating for up to 97 patrons plus two Front of House Staff.

There are actually no "bad" seats in the little theatre, it is an offset raked seating arrangement without obstructions.

Only one wheelchair can be accommodated per performance for reasons of WH&S, so please advise early and check availability.

The Bay Playhouse is a non-smoking venue.
